New Mexico celebrates 100 years of statehood
January 6, 1912 was the date that President Taft signed the proclamation that made New Mexico the 47th state of the union. Celebrations were held around the Land of Enchanment. Since we are based in Las Cruces in southern New Mexico, we have photos and a YouTube video of the Centennial Parade held here to share with you.
